Theatre Tokens are the only gift card that can be used nationwide at more than 300 theatres, from the very best regional venues across the UK to London’s West End. They also have no expiry date, meaning the lucky Theatre Token holder can go whenever and wherever they want on a day that suits them.

What’s more, Theatre Tokens is run by the Society of London Theatre (SOLT), a not-for-profit organisation that has been representing the London theatre industry since 1908. Any profits go directly back into supporting the theatre industry and helping more people experience the joy of theatre.

One lucky member will win a £500 voucher from the Society of London Theatre during our Countdown to Christmas week.

Every day this week, there'll be a Christmas-themed question to answer in the form below. On any day, type your answer, fill in your details, and hit 'Submit' to enter.

You can enter the prize draw every day if you like by answering that day's question - the more times you enter, the more chances you have of winning!

The prize draw will close on Monday 9 November at midday.

  • 1. The Promoter

    1.1 The promoter is: English Heritage of The Engine House, Fire Fly Avenue, Swindon, SN2 2EH.

  • 2. The Prize Draw

    2.1 The title of the prize draw is 'Win £500 to spend at theatres around the UK'.

  • 3. How to Enter

    3.1 The prize draw will run from 00:01am on Monday 2 November 2026 to 11:59am on Monday 9 November.

    3.2 All prize-draw entries must be received by English Heritage by no later than 11:59am on Monday 9 November. All prize-draw entries received after this time are automatically disqualified.

    3.3 Enter the prize draw by completing the online entry form provided.

    3.4 English Heritage will not accept:

    (a) responsibility for prize-draw entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause including, for example, as a result of any postal failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or

    (b) proof of posting or transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the prize draw.

    3.5 By submitting a prize-draw entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.

    3.6 The prize-draw winner will be selected at random by English Heritage. The decision of English Heritage acting reasonably will be final.

  • 4. Eligibility

    4.1 The prize draw is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except: employees or members of their immediate families or households of English Heritage or Think or their holding or subsidiary companies.

    4.2 In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. English Heritage may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.

    4.3 English Heritage will not accept prize-draw entries that are:

    (a) illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with; or
    (b) incomplete.

    4.4 English Heritage reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

  • 5. The prize

    5.1 One English Heritage member will win a £500 Theatre Token. The token is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative will be offered.

  • 6. Winner announcement

    6.1 English Heritage will contact the winner personally by Friday 13 November using the email address provided with the prize-draw entry.

    6.2 The decision of English Heritage is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

    6.3 English Heritage will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available within seven days, English Heritage reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the entries that were received on or before 11:59am on Monday 9 November 2026.

    6.4 English Heritage does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

  • 7. Limitation of Liability

    7.1 Insofar as is permitted by law, English Heritage, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of English Heritage, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

  • 9. Data Protection and Publicity

    9.1 By entering the prize draw, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the prize draw entry may be held and used only by English Heritage or its agents and suppliers to administer the prize draw.

  • 10. General

    10.1 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, English Heritage may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the prize draw.

    10.2 English Heritage reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.

    10.3 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
