Prices and Opening Times for Berwick-upon-Tweed Barracks and Main Guard
English Heritage is working with partners including the King’s Own Scottish Borderers, The Maltings Trust and Northumberland County Council on a project to transform Berwick Barracks into a thriving cultural hub.
The Barracks and the King’s Own Scottish Borderers Museum are closed during the project. We expect to reopen them in 2027 with modern, purpose-built gallery and exhibition spaces.
You can follow the project’s progress on the Living Barracks Facebook page.
