Entry to Totnes Castle will be free on Tuesday 2, 9 and 16 December 2025. Come and join us before the town's famous Christmas Market opens as the castle wil be open from 12pm-4pm. There's no need to book your visit, just turn up – we look forward to seeing you. 

For visits after December, you can book online until midnight the day before your visit to get the discount. You can still buy a ticket on the day of your visit online or when you arrive, but you’ll pay full price.

Tickets are valid all day, so you can arrive at any time and stay for as long as you like within our opening hours.

Tickets are free for members. You can still book online if you’d like – just remember to bring your English Heritage membership card.
