On Saturday 20th August 2022, we will be hosting the annual Village Show within the castle grounds and on our carpark. There is no pre-booking on this day but the castle will be open as usual. Admission prices apply on the gates, members are free.

Henry, son of David I of Scotland, becomes Earl of Northumberland. He probably creates the motte and bailey and erects the first stone buildings at Warkworth.
