Be introduced to the wonderful world of ceramic sculpture in this hour-long taster session with artist and ceramicist Brenda Burgess.
We will take inspiration from Walmer Castle’s gardens by looking at some of the amazing shapes that nature provides to make our own small sculpture that could be used as a table centre. This sculpture will be suitable for firing, though this is unavailable as part of the event; please discuss firing with Brenda if you would like to.
This taster session is aimed at adults with little to no experience with clay and/or ceramic sculpture. This event is graded as easy access, as it takes place indoors in our Education Room.
