We’re restoring the garden at Wrest Park over the next few years. When Wrest Park came into our care in 2006, several features within the garden had been lost to view or compromised, although many of the garden buildings and some of the original structural planting remained. We are now half-way through an ambitious 20-year plan to reinstate the detail, scale and proportions of the gardens, and reintroduce the most appropriate planting for each character area. Explore the timeline to see some of the work we have done so far to revitalise Wrest Park.

First World War Nurse Identified

English Heritage had put a call out in 2018 and colourised a selection of photographs in the hope that relatives of the nurses might come forward.
