Castle Closed
Tintagel Castle is currently closed due to high winds! If you have prebooked your tickets, we will refund you within 10 working days. This will happen automatically and you do not need to contact us. We always do everything we can to avoid unexpected closures and are really sorry to disappoint you. Our shop, cafe and Exhibition remain open on site and we hope you will be able to visit the castle on another day soon.
Prices and Opening Times for Tintagel Castle
Advance booking
You can book online until midnight the day before your visit to get the discount. You can still buy a ticket on the day of your visit online or when you arrive, but you’ll pay full price.
Tickets are valid all day, so you can arrive at any time and stay for as long as you like within our opening hours.
Tickets are free for members. You can still book online if you’d like – just remember to bring your English Heritage membership card.
You can join as a member online or during your visit.
