VISITOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT BEGINS AT FRAMLINGHAM CASTLE
English Heritage has started work on a £1.2 million project at Framlingham Castle. During the first phase of the project, an original mezzanine level will be reinstated in the castle's Poorhouse. This will house new interpretation, replacing the current exhibition on the first floor.

Recruiting a new chair for English Heritage
Charity begins the search for a new Chair This year, 2022, is Sir Tim Laurence’s final year as Chair of English Heritage. As Sir Tim’s second term of office finishes in December, English Heritage has now started the process of recruiting a new Chair. English Heritage is looking for someone to lead the charity on the next phase of its journey, supporting it to care for some of the most important historic sites in the country and to keep the story of England alive for future generations.
