Enchanted Belsay 2019 Competition

To celebrate our recent National Lottery Heritage Fund grant for the project Belsay Awakes, we want to thank lottery players by holding a competition with the chance to win tickets to this year’s Enchanted Belsay taking place 5 – 22 December 2019. 

Terms & Conditions for entry

  • Entrants must be over 18 years. 
  • By submitting a competition entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • Employees or contractors of English Heritage, any person directly or indirectly involved in English Heritage or the running of the competition, or their direct family members are not eligible for the prize.
  • Entries into the competition must be made before 11.59pm on Friday 22nd November 2019 by posting a picture of a hard copy or digital National Lottery ticket with the hashtag #ThanksToYou in the comments section of the Competition post on the Belsay Hall Facebook page. 
  • There is a limit of one entry per social media account. Multiple entries submitted directly or with the use of any automated systems will not be entered into the draw.
  • The 25 winners will be chosen at random and notified by social media by 5pm on Monday 25th November 2019. 
  • Each winner will recieve 2 tickets to Enchanted Belsay
  • The tickets are valid on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 5th – 22nd December. Although we will do our best to allocate you to your preferred date and time slot, please note that the slots will be available on a first come first served basis and will be limited to 4 winners per night (of a total of 12 nights). 
  • Winners will be able to collect their tickets at the door on the day of the event. 
  • If a winner cannot attend the event then they should notify Belsay Hall so that the tickets can be re-allocated to another competition entrant.

General

  • English Heritage reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
  • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, English Heritage may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
  • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Data and publicity

  • All personal data provided to English Heritage will be held and processed in accordance with the requirements of all legislation and regulatory requirements in force from time to time relating to the use of personal data and the privacy of electronic communications, including (i) the Data Protection Act 2018 and any successor UK legislation, as well as (ii) the General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) and any other directly applicable European Union regulation relating to data protection and privacy (for so long as and to the extent that the law of the European Union has legal effect in the UK). We will keep your personal data safe and secure. We will not share it with other organisations without your knowledge and consent, unless required by law to do so. We will keep your personal data only for the purposes of communicating with you regarding this competition.
