The grounds of Lindisfarne Priory are open. Our shop is open but all other indoor areas remain closed, and safety measures are in place to keep everyone safe. You need to book your visit in advance. Please keep in mind the government’s latest advice on travelling. Find out more below.
Prices and Opening times
You now need to book timed-tickets in advance to visit Lindisfarne Priory. We have introduced limits on visitor numbers to help keep everyone safe, and you won’t be able to visit without your booking confirmation. If you’re a Member, your ticket will be free, but you still need to book in advance.
You can only book for visits until 16 May. Tickets for visits after this date will go on sale as soon as we have more details of our opening arrangements. We’ll update this page when we have more information to share.
We’ve reduced the admissions price for Lindisfarne Priory while the interior areas are closed. This price is valid until 16 May when we hope we will be able to open all our historic interiors.
Lindisfarne Priory is located on Holy Island and is only accessible to visitors during certain times of the day. Your pre-booked ticket will allow you entry to the site on the date shown on your ticket. Please see our opening hours for March, April and May before you book.
Please also check the tide times using the button below.
To keep everyone safe there is a daily limit on ticket sales and you may find the Priory is busy immediately after we open. Your ticket is valid all day, and to avoid queuing a member of our team may ask you to return a little later. However, the Priory is located very close to the Island's many pubs, shops and facilities.
Last entry is one hour before closing.Book your visit
