Summer Solstice 2026

Stonehenge was built to align with the sun on the solstices. English Heritage is pleased to provide free access to Stonehenge on Saturday 20 - Sunday 21 June to celebrate the Summer Solstice.

We strongly encourage visitors to use public transport. If you need to travel by car, parking must be booked in advance. Vehicles without a pre-booked parking space will not be permitted entry. Find out more about attending the solstice here, and use the button below to book your parking.
