The Operation Dynamo tour of the Secret Wartime Tunnels is currently closed for essential maintenance. The Underground Hospital is still available for you to visit. Please be aware that mobility scooters and wheelchairs are not permitted within the tunnels. From 9 November, some rooms in our Great Tower will look a little different during your visit while we carry out conservation work. See below for more details.
Prices and Opening times for Dover Castle
Advance booking
You can book online until midnight the day before your visit to get the discount. You can still buy a ticket on the day of your visit online or when you arrive, but you’ll pay full price.
Tickets are sold by timed slot so please aim to arrive for your booked time, but you can stay for as long as you like within our opening hours.
Tickets are free for members. You can still book online if you’d like – just remember to bring your English Heritage membership card.
You can join as a member online or during your visit.
